SpreadsheetGear 2010 installation requires administrative privileges.
SpreadsheetGear 2010 requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and supports .NET 3.0, .NET 3.5 or .NET 4.0. SpreadsheetGear 2010 supports x86 and x64 versions of Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 (including R2) and Windows Server 2008 (including R2).
SpreadsheetGear 2010 works best with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, Visual Studio 2008 or Visual Studio 2010. Visual Studio is not a requirement.
SpreadsheetGear 2010 may be installed and used on computers with previous versions of SpreadsheetGear for .NET. However, it is not possible to use two versions of SpreadsheetGear.dll in a single .NET application.
For the most trouble free installation experience, please remove previously installed versions of SpreadsheetGear 2010 before installation. The SpreadsheetGear 2010 installer will attempt to update any previous installation of SpreadsheetGear 2010, but this will not always work, particularly if the previous SpreadsheetGear 2010 installation has been installed from a network drive or from the Internet.
Please close all running instances of Visual Studio while installing SpreadsheetGear 2010.
SpreadsheetGear 2010 attempts to register the SpreadsheetGear Help with Visual Studio 2005, Visual Studio 2008 and / or Visual Studio 2010. This will make the SpreadsheetGear 2010 help available in Visual Studio's Dynamic Help as well as in Visual Studio's Help Index and Table of Contents.
SpreadsheetGear 2010 also attempts to register the WorkbookView and FormulaBar Windows Forms controls with Visual Studio 2005, Visual Studio 2008 and / or Visual Studio 2010 during installation.
The Express versions of Visual Studio do not support the APIs used by SpreadsheetGear 2010 for this registration process, so you must manually register the WorkbookView and FormulaBar controls.
